At Beech Holme Tandem Club, we are a friendly, supportive group of visually impaired and sighted people who enjoy cycling. Cyclists range from very experienced to those who have discovered the joy of cycling after losing sight. We ride every week throughout the year on tandem bicycles, providing the opportunity to explore the local environment and get active. This serves to improve the health and well-being of all members.
We are based in Hull and cycle throughout East Yorkshire & over the Humber Bridge into Lincolnshire.

Beech Holme Tandem Club made me feel at ease the first time I met them. They had me out on a tandem training and out on a ride the next week. I cannot thank them enough for what they all do
I have been a member for many years and would be lost without my weekly rides
The friends I have made through the club will stay with me forever. I get so much out of the ride and the pilot will always tell me where we are and what the surroundings look like
As a pilot I love getting out on a tandem to take in the local scenery. The hostelry stop gives me time to chat with the other members about their week.

The Club is always looking for new members both sighted and visually impaired. You don't need to be an experienced cyclist or be super fit. Training is given and cycling strength is built up over many months. It will be one of the best and most enjoyable things you will ever do. The club has an excellent “fleet” of modern, well-maintained tandems. Why not visit our Membership and Enquiries page to find out more?
